Maker in Action

Today I was at the Makers Faire and was blessed with the chance to have a booth for the afternoon to showcase Game Enough to Learn. It was a joy seeing the various parents and their children, and a fiesty senior too, creating their first digital interactive game.

One of the most insightful and enjoyable I must say is to watch K2 Mattias grow in confidence and creativity as he worked on his game. Later, going between working with cardboard pieces, he was developing a most engaging and imaginative story.

He also created a few jigsaw puzzles and these too showed more complexity as he went from geometric pieces to odd and funny shapes that tickled him very much.

Doesn’t this look like some abstract masterpiece?
