Mind Your Language

Living in a multi-lingual environment like Singapore is interesting, and yet not something that we very much tap into. While we have to learn at least 2 languages in school, and many already bemoan having to do so, most of us today do not really bother much with picking up another local language despite being surrounded by these other languages. Perhaps there is no practical reasons for doing so.

Technology can be rather useful for this venture albeit a little limited when it comes to local languages. Philip Pabaharan shares 7 innovative tips to speed up language acquisition that is worth exploring. He has listed some useful websites and apps including Book Creator that was introduced in my earlier blog.
